INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), thru the Unserviceable Property Disposal Committee (UPDC) on January 30, 2012 not later than 2:00 pm (PDIC time) at the PDIC Building, Ground Floor, 2228 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City for the "as-is where-is" sale of motor vehicles and the digital duplicator subject to the terms and conditions specified below. Prospective buyers are enjoined to inspect the items before participating in the public bidding.

1. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the bid in the form of cash or manager's check payable to PDIC.

2. PDIC reserves the right to withdraw any or all of the items offered for sale anytime before the deadline of submission of offers, and to reject any or all bids or to accept such offers as maybe considered by the Committee as most advantageous to the PDIC.

3. In case the published date of bidding is declared a non-working day, the submission and opening of bids shall be held not later than 2:00 pm of the next working day.

4. The winning bidder shall undertake from the moment of award that all events, circumstances and liabilities, whether these be civil, criminal and administrative liabilities involving the above stated items shall be his obligation and responsibility, and shall render Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation free and harmless from any and all obligations.
